Project management
What is Project Management?
Project management is the process and activity of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources, procedures and protocols to achieve specific goals
Professional project certification managers ensure that project managers are ready to meet the demands of projects across the globe.
Project management processes fall into five groups:
5 Basic Phases of Project Management
Project initiation
An idea for a project will be carefully examined to determine whether or not it benefits the organization
Project planning
A project plan will define in writing, outlining the work to be performed. During this the company will be able to prioritize the project, get budget and schedule, and determine what resources are needed.
Project execution
This is a good time to share the information we have so far and bring up important project related information.
Project performance and control
In this phase we will give the company project status and progress
Project close
After project tasks are completed and the client has approved the outcome, an evaluation is necessary to highlight project success and/or learn from project history.
